T-Mobile’s Customer Support Rocks

Any of you who are friends with me on facebook have seen me rave about how T-Mobile is the best cell phone provider available.  Today, I had another reason to add to that list.

Friday, I went and got my upgrade on my phone.  I ended up getting the MyTouch Q because I loved my MyTouch so much, and when something isn’t broken, why fix it?  Unfortunately, when I got home and started taking pictures with my camera I discovered there was a problem with the flash that causes the pictures to look washed out.

Looks like it’s instagrammed – but really, just a defective phone.

My mom has the same phone, so I took some pictures with her phone to discover if it was the phone or if it was a defect. Her phone did not produce the same results, so I decided my phone was defective.  Unfortunately, I didn’t feel like going to the store to return it – so I called the T-mobile support line and explained my issue and sent them the picture above.

Within 5 minutes, they had a new phone on it’s way out to me.  It’s arriving next day air to my parents house on Tuesday, and they even switched out the color for me because I decided that I didn’t like the white color.

This is the number one reason I stay with T-Mobile.  It doesn’t have to do so much with their phone selection, or even their pricing options.  It’s because every single time over the past seven years that I’ve had a problem with anything, their customer service has been so responsive.  I have never dealt with another company that is so consistent in the excellent level of service they provide.  You add into that the fact they are actually far cheaper than Verizon, Sprint, or ATT and it’s pretty much a no brainer.

Everyone should leave whatever contract they are in and go with T-Mobile.  For real.

Plus, they are awesome on facebook.

If Tmobile worked well at the barn, I would consider switching. But the need to have a phone that will work if I fall off and need to call for help trumps all.

Oh my gosh, where is your barn? One of the things I love about Tmobile is that they roam on ATT towers for free – so even if they don’t have a tower, ATT does. I’ve never not had service somewhere… except Snowshoe WV – I don’t have data there for some reason.

It is in Purcelville. AT&T towers aren’t that good around the farm. Especially if you are down in a valley. Verizon gets me 3-4 bars almost everywhere, when I had AT&T it was generally 2 bars at best.

T-Mobile might be getting the iPhone next year officially…I might have to take a look at them if/when they do. Thanks for the recommendation.

You definitely should, tmobile is amazing. (If you care about customer service.)

They must have improved because I had them yrs ago and thought they sucked. Time changed things :)

it’s sad that it’s rare for companies to have good customer service these days.

I love and miss them. Their customer service was always awsome. Even if they couldn’t fix my problem due to company policy or something, they were still good. I had a similar issue with a phone and they did the same thing for me. Even if they couldn’t fix my problem they were still helpful and explained things so I could understand (I am not tech savvy). Now I have Sprint. Not by choice, I had to go on my Boyfriend’s plan. I haven’t had to deal with their customer service yet, but the reception is nowhere near what I got with T-mobile. Of course, I’m happy to just have a cell phone right now, but I wish it were T-mobile. Plus I would be able to get all me old ring tones that didn’t transfer services.

I’ve heard that Sprint is the second best choice in my area. If I ever had to leave tmobile for some reason, it would be to go to sprint. Although, I hope I never have to leave tmo. Because they are awesome.

I’m glad there’s someone else who’s had an awesome experience though. Most people tell me I’m crazy and their support sucks. LOL
