Every once and a while, I run across a total creep on the internet. I don’t always know when this happens, but today, I got a perfect example of how creeps exist on the internet.
His name? Jodi Myatt. Apparently he owns a company called Biocybertronics and he’s lived in the United States for about 6 years, and is originally from the UK. He is 26 and says he’s loaded with a ton of money. Also, he claims that he has a congenital heart defect. If you search for him online, you will find all of this information.
Yesterday, he was posting on my facebook about how he paid for some people to go vote in this election in Virginia, because as a UK citizen, he can not vote. (Which is kind of scummy in my opinion.) That’s when I got this message from a friend of mine from high school:
LP: How do you know jodi myatt? He wrote me a bad check for 3.5 grand. Also if you google him, you will find threads on facebook about how he made up his heart condition. My friend met him in the mental hospital. He’s a bad dude. Just warning ya to steer clear!
At first I was a little stunned. I mean sure, Jodi had always been kind of creepy and some of the stuff he said sounded implausible, but writing a bad check for 3.5K? A mental hospital? Lying about his heart condition? Those are some pretty outrageous claims.
Then – she sent me the email threads where he bounced the check for 3.5K for a horse. She said she was suspicious right away because he was so young but his checks said Dr. Jodi Myatt. In the emails she sent to me, this was his excuse to her back then:
“I am so sorry, I forgot about the 4th being a national holiday when i wired some money from England and that caused it to bounce.”
I mean, that is suspect right there. How can anyone who is in the United States forget about the 4th of July being a national holiday? There’s fireworks, and little flags everywhere. I smell something fishy… Anyways, his excuse to me when I asked him about it today?
“Gosh that was years ago and yes, that bit I will admit, but one of the people I was living with emptied my account at the time so more to it than just that.”
Well – at least we know that the guy is a liar. LP is currently looking for the post where someone called him out for faking his heart condition. Honestly, I have no idea how I met him (probably Jimmy’s?) but now I’m intrigued so I figured I would use my amazing SEO capabilities and write a blog post.
