Disclaimer: I am a Packers fan. Aaron Rodgers is a football God in my opinion. I have NFL Sunday Ticket so I can watch all their games.
Yesterday, I posted about how bad the scab ref’s were after the Redskins game. I guess they read my post because they ended up screwing the team I love the most. Here’s the set up: The Seahawks were trailing 12-7 on Monday Night Football with eight seconds remaining on the Packers’ 24-yard-line when Russell Wilson heaved back and threw a Hail Mary right into Packers safety M.D. Jennings arms. The important thing to note is that the Seahawk’s shouldn’t have even been in range if it wasn’t for a interception and a botched offensive pass interference the replacement refs got wrong.
Here’s the play from two different angles for your review:
Here is the first view:
Here is the announcers reviewing it:
So, one of the replacement refs signals for a touchdown, one of the replacement refs signals for an interception. Who’s call is the one that is actually made on the field? The touchdown.
Here’s the problem with that call being made. Once the touchdown call was made – IT WAS NOT-REVERSIBLE. Even the booth review couldn’t reverse it. Where the bigger issue happened before Tate even got his hands on the ball. He pushed off a Green Bay player to get there and the refs completely missed it. He shouldn’t have been in a position to get the touchdown. This play, as it was, should have been null and void.
Refs, you fail. YOU FAIL SO HARD.
And Rodger Goodell? Please just die. You are ruining the game with your greed. UGH!
