A Meme? In My Blog?

Posted on 09 February 2012 by Stephanie

cougartown

Normally I don’t do memes when other people tag me – but because it’s Jaime, and I pretty much love her, I kind of have to comply to this one.   (I mean, she did put me first, which means that I am the best and she thinks about me the most.)  Plus, she had one of the best tweets of the year so far that seriously made me laugh out loud when I got to the office:

Oh yeah, we are totally like cougar town, especially since we mostly end up talking about Twatwaffles, Baby Squirrels, and what we would do on a road trip in which we were all invited. :-P  So, here’s the questions that Jaime gave me to answer:

If you had the choice to know when you were going to die or not to know, what would you choose?
I think this would have to be a split second decision, because I’d go back and forth on it and it’s definitely one of those things that once you know it is impossible to unknow.  One of my favorite movies, The Time Travelers Wife he knows how he’s going to die, and sets his affairs in order – but in my life I’d probably just blow all my money and act like I was going to live forever because hey, now I know I’m going to die on this date.

What is the one food you could not live without eating ever again?
String cheese.  Definitely string cheese.  I eat it all the time, and I’m fairly addicted to it.  I even cut it up into little rounds and put it in my salads instead of doing shredded cheese.

Where is the one place you most want to visit on the planet and why?
The only thing I haven’t done that I really want to do is see an active volcano – but not in some place cliche like Hawaii – so I’d have to find one that was erupting and make it there before it stops, which is damn near impossible.

How many times a day do you say a swear word?
The answer to this would make you blush.  I have a mouth like a sailor.

What is the most absurd phobia you have and why?
I actually have a phobia about people not commenting on my blog / facebook.  If a post goes too long without getting comments on it, I delete it and then try another post.  Basically, it plays into my fears about not being loved / liked enough.  Ridiculous, no?

If all A’s are B’s. Not B, therefore not A. How does this relate to the greatness of cheese?
Well, you see, there’s processed cheeses and there’s cheese that isn’t handled a billion ways from Sunday before it hits your stores.  It’s the difference between a block of mozzarella and those little balls in the juice you buy.  When creating a sandwich, you should always use the little balls of cheese, FRESH mozzarella, instead of the blocks.

If you could go back in time and undo one event, what would it be and why?
Everyone always answers this with something cliche, like, “I would never change anything, my life is supossed to be this way and everything I have done I learned from!”  Screw that, I would totally go back in time and change a couple events in my life, and then a couple world events just to see what the outcome would be.  For instance, in my life, there’s a couple major areas of Zack’s and my relationship where I would take it back (signing the lease at the townhouse with him is the major one) and world wide, I’m the kind of girl who would go change the outcome of one of the World Wars (probably the first) just to see what the world looked like after it.  I bet there’s Zombies.

A frat boy, a cougar and a priest all walk into a bar. Which do you make fun of first?
The frat boy, definitely.  I’d point out the cougar and say, “She’s all yours…”

Fried or deep fried?
If it’s cheese curds?  Fried.

Who are some blogs you would recommend we read cuz you think they are hilarious/awesome/inspiring/etc?
I was going to suggest Jaime, but she hardly writes anymore, so definitely any of the blogs in the blog roll on my site.  I love them all.

Now, because I completed that assignment, I get to tag 11 people to do the exact same thing.  First, here are the rules:

  • You must post these rules.
  • Each person must post 11 things about herself on their blog.
  • Answer the questions the “tagger” listed for you in her post, and create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
  • Choose 11 people to tag and link to them in the post.
  • Let each blogger know that you have tagged them.

I am tagging:

Three Way Stop (x3- all three of you have to answer this)
Teresa M Owen
Tazer Warrior Princess
Stacy Laughs
Who8MyPants
The Rebel Chick
OhNoa!
Lindsay in NYC
It’s So Fuzzy! (Okay, so I tagged Jaime again, but I really want to see her answers!)

And here are my questions:

1.  Why does Donald Duck wear a towel when he comes out of the shower, when he doesn’t usually wear any pants?
2.  How come you press harder on a remote control when you know the battery is dead?
3.  Do the minutes on the movie boxes include the previews, credits, and special features, or just the movie itself?
4.  If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
5.  What color would a smurf turn if you choked it?
6.  If a cat always lands on its feet, and buttered bread always lands butter side down, what would happen if you tied buttered bread on top of a cat?
7.  If you were shrunk to the size of a pencil, and put in a blender, how would you get out?
8.  What do wood and alcohol have in common?
9.  Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
10.  If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest drown too?
11.  Why do you call it an asteroid when its outside the hemisphere, yet call it hemorrhoid when its in your ass?

If any of you all are not tagged, and want to answer one or more of these questions, you may in the comments.
