Dear Deutsche Telekom, Hi! It’s me, Stephanie. You might not remember me, but I’ve been a customer of your american branch, T-Mobile for quite some time. You see, I got onto T-Mobile when the first Sidekick came out, and I’ve stuck with you ever since. This has been pretty remarkable considering that I used to switch phones and carriers almost as much as I changed underwear. You have provided me with fabulous service over the years [Click Comments To Continue]
This just in: The United States Justice Department Stepped Up and Filed Suit to Block the ATT and T-Mobile Merger From the Article: The Justice Department’s problems with the merger go beyond concerns over pricing and competition. The Justice Department said in a statement today that T-Mobile has proven to be “a disruptive force” in the wireless industry, delivering “a number of significant ‘firsts,’” including offering the first Android handset [Click Comments To Continue]
Only two more days of work this work before a four day weekend and I couldn’t be more happy. I have a ton of stuff to get done today at work today to make it so that I don’t have to work tomorrow besides doing some end of month reports, but I’m still taking the time to write this post because it clears my head before the work morning. (Plus, I love reading your comments throughout the day, it makes me smile!) This morning I found the following [Click Comments To Continue]
This Remembe(Red) is fun for me because once upon a time I actually had someone who wanted to option my blog and turn it into a book. At the time, I didn’t feel like going through and renaming everyone because it was years of material that I’m pretty sure that some people would have put a bounty on my head for some of the things that I wrote. Looking back though, and thinking about my past post maybe I should have taken her up on that. I could [Click Comments To Continue]
It’s Monday, and all I can keep thinking is that I really don’t want to be at work right now. I’m off on Friday, and even four days at the work week seems too much. I must’ve sat on the couch for 45 minutes this morning trying to motivate myself to pack up my laptop and come to work. My company and my job isn’t horrible. I have a short commute, and I’m doing project management which is what I’ve more or less positioned myself to do over [Click Comments To Continue]
Remember when I said I wasn’t going to do something stupid like go driving around Fairfax in Hurricane Irene? Well, I lied to you. Zack and I were doing pretty well with the staying in – mostly because he was so hung over from the night before. (Seriously, he was drunk and told me he’d have my babies and then he proposed to me in the middle of puking and taking a poo – I should hold him to it.) We just laid on the couch and watched the [Click Comments To Continue]
This week has been a big week for Northern Virginia. First, we had a 5.8 earthquake in DC and now Hurricane Irene is bearing down on us threatening to do mass amounts of damage to all chairs on balconies and anything that is left outside. Apparently Herndon is only going to get 38MPH sustained winds with up to 60MPH wind gusts. I will be laughing in the face of hurricane Irene calling her a wuss for losing strength before getting to me – [Click Comments To Continue]
So, as many of you know, I started this blog after years of having a private blog that livejournal. The goal was simple – to create a blog, get a shit ton of followers, and then use that blog to launch a couple money making endevors so I don’t actually have to work a 9 – 5. I mean, it’s not that I hate my job, I just hate people who watch the clock, and monitor your internet time, and things such as that. You pay me X amount of money to [Click Comments To Continue]
Zack and I text while we’re at work because hello, we sleep together and it’s pretty much required that we remind each other that we’re on each others minds more than when we’re together. Anyways, this is the conversation that transpired today: (Things you need to know to understand this conversation: Zack drives around a van all day for work, I tend to have prophetic dreams and I am unhealthily obsessed with hoarders and Faith has a little [Click Comments To Continue]
Before I get into my Write on the Edge challenge post, I had to share this little nugget that one of my coworkers sent me this morning. Oh yes, we will rebuild, and we will be bigger, and stronger, than ever. This weeks challenge for Remembe(red) was to write about your most horrible memory ever. It’s easy for me to name this one, but it proved to be more difficult to write about – especially because it involved so many people. Here [Click Comments To Continue]
